This is truly a beginning for us but for God: He has neither beginning nor no end. The Gospel of John reads “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (v.1). So before the universe or earth existed – and before humans existed – God was. Before time, space and matter existed, God existed. God in Space and Time Critics have long charged Christianity with being a mythological religion, and the effects of their propaganda have trickled down through some of the most notable seminaries. Magazine racks are full during the Christmas season with various cover stories claiming to search for the “real” Jesus who has been buried.

The book is aimed at helping us have or find "God Space' in our daily interactions with others. I considered going 3 stars on the book as it is aimed at a certain particular understanding of the Gospel and evangelism. Still I think it can be valuable to all Christians.4/5(56). Instead of changing the space in which we, the whole People of God, worship, we often just moved the furniture that was immediately around the presiding presbyter. this is a good time .

Spacetime Physics: Edwin F. Taylor, John Archibald Wheeler: : Books highly recommended. Why? You only need basic math to read it. It goes deep into the basic concepts. John A. Wheeler was the mentor of the great Richard Fe. In Greek mythology, there is Asteria, the goddess of stars, and a few deities for the "moving stars". Helios was the god of the sun, and Selene was the goddess of the moon. Otherwise, Ouranos is the god of the heavens, meaning space too.

The theme of this year, Time and Space, is based on the Temple of Solomon. The Temple of Solomon is larger than the Tabernacle of Moses. This year, the Lord is bringing His people to a bigger, broader place. Recap of last week’s sermon, where Pastor Prince teaches on the Temple of Solomon.

by Matt Slick 7/13/ Sometimes critics of Christianity, such as atheists, raise the argument that it is not possible for God to be everywhere and also be outside of space and this is true only if each being "everywhere" and "being outside of space and time.

Philosophy of space and time is the branch of philosophy concerned with the issues surrounding the ontology, epistemology, and character of space and such ideas have been central to philosophy from its inception, the philosophy of space and time was both an inspiration for and a central aspect of early analytic subject focuses on a number of basic issues.

All this is remarkable proof that the Bible is a divine Book, for no man would ever come up with a program for success that starts with an admission of failure. A couple of weeks ago my wife and I were in Palm Springs, sharing in a ministry with Dr.

Lewis Smedes, a professor from Fuller Seminary. God of Space and Time Date: February   Synopsis This book is a collection of essays on God of space and time book Dylan and religion. The eight scientific essays present new perspectives on the subject, aiming to elucidate the role played by religion in Bob Dylan’s artistic output and in the reception history of some of his songs.

Answer: We live in a physical world with its four known space-time dimensions of length, width, height (or depth) and time. However, God dwells in a different realm—the spirit realm—beyond the perception of our physical senses.

It’s not that God isn’t real; it’s a matter of His not being limited by the physical laws and dimensions. The Bible records that, in the beginning (time), God created the heavens (space) and the earth (matter). So the universe itself is a three-in-one of sorts, thereby reflecting its Maker.

The logical, orderly way the universe behaves is also a reflection of the One who made it and sustains it by the word of His power (Hebrews ). Hugh Ross is an astrophysicist that uses science and scripture to show that God is not constrained by the time and space dimensions that we are.

Humans operate within four dimensions of space and time which include length, width, depth, and time. In a radio interview and in his book, Dr. Holland describes the analysis of theologian Oscar Cullman of the New Testament's Greek terminology regarding God and time.

And again, in agreement with the above, Cullman concluded that the New Testament vocabulary does not support the philosophical claim that God exists outside of time. The God of Space and Time Hardcover – June 1, by Bernard J.

Cooke. The time scale of the universe is very long compared to that for human life. It was therefore not surprising that until recently, the universe was thought to.

The cause of the universe is God. Our Creator is outside of the physical creation he made. Time is not eternal, but created. To ask what happened in time before time was created is to create a false paradox without meaning.

There was no "before" before the triune universe of time, space and matter was created. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth didn't have any shape.

And it was empty. -Genesis (NIrV) In Space & Time, kids get a taste of these two concepts and how they are related/5(8).

W hy did God create the outer space where the environment is hostile to life?. Creation of Heaven and Earth. The Bible cannot be looked at as a book about the heavens, but a book about how to get there.

The Bible was written by God the Holy Spirit and He inspired all Scripture (2nd Tim ), so the Bible simply says, “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth”. Who first conceived the idea of his existence outside our time and space. If he is continually aware of everything that happens in our time and space, doesn’t that really mean he is continually part.

However, time is related to space, matter and energy which is known as the space-time continuum. Time, however, is actually a measure of a movement of 15 degrees in the rotation of our solar system.

The faster matter moves and approaches the speed of light, the more compressed it becomes and the slower time becomes.Yet even more amazing (and the universe is amazing) is the historic fact that the Creator-God, after purposefully creating the time-space-matter universe, chose to enter it in the God-human person of Jesus Christ—for the sole purpose of providing a means by which humanity could have a personal relationship with the Creator.Written by Vladimir Moss GOD, SPACE-TIME, THE CHURCH, THE CROSS AND LIGHT The Orthodox Church instructs her children largely through the use of symbolism and analogy.
